This tiny structure will house security personnel at the Meadowlands Rail Station. We completed design and construction documentation in a very compressed 4 month time frame (in order for construction completion and event testing before the 2014 Super Bowl at Met Life Stadium). The facility was also designed to be used more heavily, when the trains begin to operate on a more frequent schedule to accommodate the eventual opening of the American Dream Mall (formerly Xanadu). The building is about the size of a two car garage, and includes sanitary facilities, state-of-the-art surveillance, emergency power, nearly 360 degree visibility of passenger movement, and exterior materials that match the nearby rail station building. It will be constructed on steel H piles and between platform access ramps at the bumper of the track bed.
